I am very new to the whole blogging atmosphere so creating this blog was much harder than I originally thought it would be. I always kept a journal as a kid but it really didn't say much other than how the boy down the street had cute hair or how Kimberly had a vanilla sprinkle cake at her birthday party. 

I wanted my first blog to reflect my personality. I ripped the title off of the Beatles song because I love music and wanted my blog to reflect that. I chose blue and green for the color of my font with an outdoorsy background because I thought the combination was simple and bright. I love to be outdoors and live a fairly simple and very happy life and thought that these colors and background reflect that. 

I did not choose a link list because I honestly do not surf the web too much. I may add links in the future if they are relevant to a post but I could not think of any good links offhand at the moment. 

My about me just has the basic facts: major, hometown, interests, all that small talk stuff. I figure that I have a whole semester of writing on the blog so everyone will learn more about me from posts rather than from my "about me" paragraph. 

I honestly have no idea what to expect from this blog. Besides lab reports and Happy Birthday notes to my roommates, I am not much of a writer. Writing in such a public setting will be a new, and hopefully exciting, journey.
